Thank you for clicking on my post! After many years of dating, both in longterm and shortterm relationships, I am looking for a partner to love and grow with for the long haul. At this point in my life, after sifting through many experiences and becoming clearer about who I am and what I want, I have realized the following 61607 I believe that close relationships, first and foremost, are to generate more love and support for each other. But, if you are the sort that focuses only on the light or bliss in your spiritual practice, my sense is that we probably wont get along. Dont get me wrong, Im all for peace and love, but Ive met too many people who use spirituality as a way to avoid taking responsibility for their bad behavior. We all have a shadow, or baggage, or issues, and my version of spirituality involves taking responsibility for that so I dont act out or take things out on others. 61607 I value people with good boundaries. If you are mature, if you have your own life and interests, these are good things. I am not really into the conventional idea of relationships in which two become one. Id like an equal who will have his own opinions and feelings, while respecting mine. I believe that true emotional intimacy results from working through the differences, in addition to having common interests, beliefs and values. 61607 I enjoy really taking the time to get to know someone while dating. I have had experiences of getting swept up in the moment and love at first sight but these have often eventually fizzled when reality set in.
