I have come to understand myself as a sensualist. Before you stop reading, that means for me the taste of food and wine, the sight of a beautiful garden or sunset, the feel of a soft breeze on my skin or a soft kiss, the sound of rain or a fabulous laugh. I have a pretty good sense of humor, like to cook and garden, entertain, am comfortable alone, like to make my coffee in the morning and read the paper, love my free lance design work, adore and enjoy my two children and grandchildren. I exercise regularly but that doesn't mean I'm Paris Hilton by any means. I want a connected and meaningful friendship. Caring, laughing, conversing, sharing meals, struggles, successes, deeper parts of ourselves, perhaps even learning to support one another can be astonishing. No pressure, just a real friendship and monogamous relationship. If something grows organically, it will. I find the best relationships I have had grew on a solid foundation of friendship, with true appreciation and enjoyment of the other for who they are, lend leading to a potential mate. I appreciate someone who, at least, is confident in body, mind and spirit. No smoking of anything, conscious eating, some working out of body and mind. I like an educated, successful man who enjoys just being at home in sweats, as much as he is in a tux for a night out. If he wears jeans most of the time, that's a plus. If he has children, they adore him and are launched. He is not needy and understands interdependence. He smiles and laughs often and has the lines around his eyes to prove it. I am at a place for romantic getaways including a drive with the top down and fancy dinners even if you are cooking it. I know this is honest. Let's just get this out of the way I'm a real person. If you choose to respond to this post, and you do it in a way that either makes me smile/tihnk/piques my interest, etc, I will respond, and I'll probably ask questions.
